At GC Health Therapy, we work with NDIS participants to complete the assessments and reports required to access and maintain Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA). Our role is to ensure you’re clinically supported in your application, advocacy and ongoing eligibility, so you can secure and remain in housing that’s truly right for your needs.
Specialist Disability Accommodation is NDIS-funded housing designed for people with significant support needs. These homes are typically owned by private providers and built to specific design standards.
There are different SDA levels and categories depending on the participant’s needs and goals. If eligible, a portion of your NDIS funding is allocated toward your accommodation costs. To access or maintain SDA, you’ll need evidence from a qualified Occupational Therapist, usually in the form of a Functional Capacity Assessment and detailed supporting report.
