Our Occupational Therapists have four years previous experience in the building trade, providing them with a unique set of skills.

Our OT's draw upon their unique understanding of home modifications, from a building and OT perspective, to achieve the best result for our participants. This enables us to provide a home environment that is both functional and safe to assist participants achieve their NDIS goals.

Our team have the skillset and experience to prescribe all levels of Assistive Technology to promote increased independence.

 

Our team can prescribe;

  •  Shower commodes

  • Four wheel walkers

  • Falls alarms

  • Over toilet aids

  • Bidets

  • Stairlifts

  • Kitchen aids (automated jar openers to modified cutlery)

Our OT was a carpenter & joiner for 4 years, until he decided his true calling was to help others gain their independence.

 

He completed a Diploma in Fitness and then decided to further his studies by completing a Bachelor in Occupational Therapy. 

 

Since graduating from Southern Cross University on the Gold Coast in 2016 he has found his niche in Home modifications and Assistive Technology. 

​

He loves working together with participants to enhance their quality of life through OT.
